UNIFIED ASIAN COMMUNITIES

MAY 2021

In honor of Asian American + Pacific Islander Heritage Month, proceeds from the RAYRAY RAMEN pop-up were donated to Unified Asian Communities, which aims to "unify and empower Asian communities across the globe through civic engagement, community service, & member-led initiatives." Thanks to everyone to who came and supported, we were able to raise $650 for UAC.

AUGUST & SEPTEMBER 2021

For the months of  August & September we raised almost $2,000 for AIO

AIO’s mission is to respectfully & compassionately support those in need in Knox County with food and energy assistance. Their vision is to have a hunger-free community, but until that time AIO is committed to ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry, or is cold in their home.

BOMAZEEN LAND TRUST

JUNE & JULY 2021

For the months of June & July , we raised over $1000 for the Bomazeen Land Trust

This project is organized by Wabanaki people with lineage ties to the lands and waters of western Maine. They are dedicated to social and environmental justice in Wabanakiak, to protecting and honoring culturally significant spaces through the rematriation of ancestral land and the continuance of cultural practice and presence.

APRIL & MAY 2021

For the months of April and May, we raised over $1,000

for Maine Inside Out in support of their June Open Mic.

Maine Inside Out activates individuals and communities to imagine and embody freedom through art, advocacy and support, and transformative justice. Formerly incarcerated people lead their work to build a world where everyone matters and belongs.
